As lifelong dog lovers, we have created a Grooming Studio our own dogs would be happy and proud to visit and one we would be comfortable taking them to for a spa day. A place which offers the best in organic and natural products, patience and kindness while delivering top notch service in a comfortable and casual atmosphere.
Here, in our little Grooming Studio, we are firm believers that quiet and calm win the race every time. So while grooming may take a bit longer, happy doggies is where it’s at?
We appreciate clear skin, a sweet smell, thick shiny hair and a really great hair cut; and we like our dogs to look and smell great too. Don’t we all give our dogs extra attention when they are back from the groomer’s?! But grooming is more than just about good looks. Good grooming means great health for both dogs and their humans.
DOG HAIR. DOG CARE
Besides having a good diet and sufficient training and exercise, grooming is directly related to health and wellness. A matted coat can hide and aggravate a host of skin conditions, which may signify more serious health problems. A dull or balding coat can reveal medical conditions such as hypothyroidism (symmetric hair loss is a clue), mange (a parasitic condition), or nutritional differences (low protein could mean dull, sparse hair). Dogs with skin folds, floppy ears, furry paw pads, pronounced eyes, flat faces or dental issues all need special kinds of care as well.
We know, it’s a lot to handle! That is why we are here. Our groomer is a trained professional who knows what to look out for during each and every one of your dog’s visits to our studio. It is our duty to inform you of any abnormalities we may find during the grooming process.
